thadley 15 Posted March 28, 2007 Caught in mid-air, a young "kid" is hopping, prancing and is told off by his father. Wild goats in St.Kitts. With nature shots you need something more than 200 mm telephoto but I have to work with what I've got. Let me know what you think. Thanks. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted March 28, 2007 This is too cute, I love it. We have a little dog who jumps just like this. Link to comment

olafdevries 0 Posted July 18, 2007 However, indeed.., catching these folks in this way, seen attitudes and especialy their heads, does prove you're an allround shooter Tony! This is animal street in optima forma! Congrats! Link to comment
amachado 2 Posted January 8, 2008 Wonderful capture, full of grace and movement. Alfredo Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted March 24, 2008 I think it's a fun image ... made me look twice at the baby in mid air. :-) I also think that the background is undistracting and the fact that you shot the goats in a natural context (as opposed to a farm yard) strengthens the shot. I don't believe that every single shot of an animal has to be a close-up zoom ... when I was in Africa on safari I shot the wildlife with my normal or wide angle lenses about 1 time for every 3 or 4 that I used my zoom for.... thadley 15 Posted March 24, 2008 Thanks for stopping by. These wild goats are from St.Kitts and it was particularly dry, steep and rocky at this location - just the way goats like it. I had to take a few before capturing this one in mid-air. Link to comment
