Pasture coming to spring seed. Thoughts...

Very good photo, however, it seems to be a tad oversharpened.

Greg, I think what your perceiving as sharpening is sticky stuff, I didn't do any sharpening. The sun was low and had this glowing. You can pickup some of the white color on the ones in the background.

When I first looked at this I thought of a movie I saw once a long time ago. There were rows and rows of old knights in armor fading into the background. Maybe the form of this grass head made me think of the soldiers pikes. So, I like this for reminding me of a good scene in an old movie. I also like it for how it shows the different degrees of sharpness as you advance towards the lens.

 

Nice light and colors, too. Relaxing to view and meditate or just dream on. I am dreaming of redoing my big room/kitchen area in greens. This might be a nice accent color with darker greens for trim/carpet and maybe pale yellow for walls. Hmmmmmmmmm, I dream on.....

M.M. ~ I hadn't really thought about it but most of the pictures I take have a color and tone that I've painted our rooms and house.

I don't take as many photos with blues or reds, those colors are only accent colors in our house.

Interested, I'll have to make a conscious effort to expand my color scope.
