I was struck by the 'little trees' effect...Took this from an open

window after a late-winter/early spring snowstorm. The shadows were

fading in and out as the clouds rolled over.

The sedum plants do look like a Lilliputian forest. The shadow effects and sporadic light elevate the interest and intrigue of the shot. You may want to toggle the RAW settings just a *wee* bit to get the tops of the center sedum to stand out a bit more. Overall, really nice photo...I like this quite a bit.

Hi Andrew.

I really like this image too.  I had to do a double take to figure what I was actually seeing-I like shots like that.

Andrew: I thought they were trees until I read more.  Thought you were in a plane or something.  Very clever.  Great illuison and nice composition.   Alan

Andrew,

Great shot - what struck me was the leaning of the taller group towards the isolated shorter. Creates a feeling of a youth separated from the caring (or lecturing)  elders of a community.
