Very nice! When I lived in the midwest U.S., I was never able to get close to these birds even with a car. Did you use a blind?

I've never heard the Western, but if it's anything at all similar to the Eastern, it's one of the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard. My favorite bird. Really nice image.

What a superb capture! I've been trying for a photo like this for a long time, but haven't yet succeeded; they are relatively wary birds. This is excellent.
