johnsloan 0 Posted February 15, 2002 Mom and Daughter before the new arrival. I found this area where the light was perfect and had my wife go over to the tree. I just let my daughter (almost 2) do what ever she wanted. This was the first and best shot of the series. What do you think? Link to comment
chris_myers2 0 Posted February 15, 2002 John, Very nice portrait and conveyance. The expression on your wife's face is wonderful. I do wish the light had been a bit softer on her front but considering the entire photograph, I think it's superb! Link to comment
ken_imduaikiat2 0 Posted February 15, 2002 Simply beautiful... as you mention lighting was perfect... I particularly enjoy the rim light and the beautiful "C" line Link to comment

detlef 6 Posted February 17, 2002 If you would have taking this from a lower perspective....this would have been perfect! Link to comment
johnsloan 0 Posted February 17, 2002 Thanks to all for taking the time to make comments. I greatly appreciate them all. Detlef, I agree 100% that this would have been better from a little lower perspective (about the childs level) but I would have gotten the sky which would have been blown out and distracting. I believe I did take one from a lower perspective but because of the sky and the fact that the interaction between the two subjects is better in this one, I chose to post the one you see. Thanks again! Link to comment
