Intimate Moment

Mom and Daughter before the new arrival. I found this area where the

light was perfect and had my wife go over to the tree. I just let my

daughter (almost 2) do what ever she wanted. This was the first and

best shot of the series. What do you think?

Very nice portrait and conveyance. The expression on your wife's face is wonderful. I do wish the light had been a bit softer on her front but considering the entire photograph, I think it's superb!

Simply beautiful... as you mention lighting was perfect... I particularly enjoy the rim light and the beautiful "C" line

If you would have taking this from a lower perspective....this would have been perfect!

Detlef, I agree 100% that this would have been better from a little lower perspective (about the childs level) but I would have gotten the sky which would have been blown out and distracting. I believe I did take one from a lower perspective but because of the sky and the fact that the interaction between the two subjects is better in this one, I chose to post the one you see. Thanks again!
