Paint, done in PAINT. Yes, I do these in Paint.

The pictures are clear but I enhance them and move them into paint because I love to work with the natural beauty that the picture has. I do nothing but work with way the picture flows.

I do no changes in the picture itself but CROPPING it. I only change the saturation and contrast and highlights.

I move back and forth through all the different paint filters to find the right paints for the way I want a certain picture.

I do not actually go in and PAINT any individual picture unless I have to change some piece that might need to be erased.

It is as you see it because of the way the colors get enhanced. The way that the natural flow of the picture wanted to go. I explain all of this because so many people wonder how I do these.

Now you know. Thank you for looking. I appreciate it very much!

I love the posterised look and I'm a great fan of strong, vibrant colours. The silhouetted tree is very striking against the brilliant sky! Nicely done. Kind regards, Chris

Aw, that little moon is just "killing me"! Of course, in a good way. :-P Micki, this is a fantastic image and the color zones really give lot`s of feeling into this one - or, to be precise, to all such way edited images of yours! :-) I return back to the tiny moon, it is such a nice detail. The large tree reaches towards the sky and the moon, as if trying to form a bridge for our thoughts to climb towards the dream of the moon... Oh, I am falling into semi-"poetic"-mood... :-) Well, that`s just me, try to cope these senseless comments of mine. ;-D

Well, if it didn`t clear before this, I LIKE THIS IMAGE A LOT!

I would have to wear sunglasses all the time if I lived in your world! I want to go swimming here. And I want the sky to look just like this.

Following up on Greg's comment, I like everything about this version except perhaps for the randomly feathered boundaries between the arcs of blue in the sky ... the 'noisy' boundaries come across to me less as 'natural' in appearance, and more as 'digital artifacts' ... but that's just my opinion/impression. Hard to say for sure without seeing an example, but I suspect I'd prefer to see instead smooth curved line boundaries between those bands of blue in the sky at the top, especially given how finely and delicately the tree is rendered in silhouette against the sky...

Very nicely done overall, however. Thanks for sharing!

I now know how to feather those boundries a little more so I can rework this some. I actully have a friend that might try doing it this way as a stain glass so having it this way right now will for now.

I just uploaded the real picture by request. Some people don't realize that all the colors really do come from a simple sunset.
