Len, this is a beautiful image.I love the delicate childten's figures, in red, shown through the transparent curtain. standing near the window, they are really looking or waiting for somone or something. The window light is well used and is softened with the transparency. No nits, just beauty ;-))

Pnina, Thanks for your thoughtful comment. This was a photo of opportunity; I had the camera in my hand as I walked by & seized the shot. 'Point & Shoots' are great for that. Some of these pay off better than planned sessions. The light was overcast & soft, ideal for maintaining control of the contrast & revealing delicate tones. Might not have workded had they been bathed in direct sunlight. Best, LM.

Photos are forever when you have captured a nicely distilled situation into art. Excellent!

Arthur, Thanks for your thoughts. Yes, something timeless about children. This is a shot I'm sure we've all seen many times & usually don't record simply because it IS so common. This one goes in our family album. Best, LM.

Cropped from a horizontal 'grab' shot taken on the fly with a 'point

& shoot'. Couldn't resist the opportunity to capture kids doing what

they do naturally. Your opinions\thoughts will be gratefully

received. Best, LM.

Jan, Nice of you to stop by & take the time to comment. The big one is my 4 yr. old grandson & the other my niece's 3 year old daughter. Looks like they spotted more fun possibilities walking up the driveway:-) Best, LM.

Len, very sweet image...you've captured this moment well. I love how the sheers have softened the light and the overall photo. Very nice addition to the family album.

Leslie, Thanks for stopping by. As for the sheers, they help with the photo but I'm not sure my wife would approve of the extra wear & tear they endure with kids added to the mix:-) Best, LM

Greg, I'll tell you what they DIDN'T see................. their smudgy little finger prints all over the window! Love 'em anyway. Best, LM.

Excellent photo, and excellent reflex! The exposure is perfect, though it was difficult with the brightness of the outside.

Henri, Thanks for your time. This one speaks to the high quality of today's 'point & shoot' cameras. This one was a Canon A540 set on Program mode @ 5.8mm & no flash. Shot on the run when I saw the opportunity. Best, LM.
