Very nice lighting and great colours. The composition is good except the horizon needs levelling in my opinion.

Yes, the sun is STILL setting behind this nice little shrimp boat! :) I tossed out the colored filter (ok...I have a version with the colored filter as well which is also very nice and probably would score higher in the ratings but I'm trying to mix it up) for this shot and went natural with a long exposure (f/8, 30 seconds, ISO 100) with the little bit of remaining light on the horizon which reflected well on the water. Thoughts, comments, suggestions, etc. are appreciated! This was composed with the foreground water in the shot (see my last couple posts) but the tide was lower so there were no mast reflections and it wasn't adding a lot to the shot like it did in the other captures I've posted so I cropped it out.

Is the orange intensified by the green, or is the green highlighted by the orange? Either way it is indeed charming, very good shot Tyler, best wishes, Jim.

Mark--Thanks for your kind words. You are right about the horizon--I think the water's edge makes it seem even worse than it really is but this would benefit from a level--thanks for pointing that out.

Jim--Your comments mean a lot to me, especially since you have shot THE BEST Mabry Mill picture I've EVER seen (and I've seen a lot!). Thanks for stopping by to visit my portfolio and taking the time to leave a comment!
