Guest Guest Posted March 22, 2007 Kostas, it's nice to see you back! I think this is a wonderful idea and has a lot of great qualities. For instance, I love the rich blue and white against the gray rocks, that provides much contrast and interest. You've handled the white of the clouds beautifully, it is rich and very illuminated. The composition is interesting, as it's geometric. But I don't get enough feeling of depth. I'm not sure why that is, but the reflection in the water seems to be on the surface and the water itself doesn't feel like water, it feels too flat. Maybe had you pulled back a bit you would have lost your closeup feeling but accomplished a more 3_D effect. Not really sure on this one, to be honest. But I think I see what you are trying for and I think it's a creative idea. --Fred Link to comment

I crop it to have more of the subject that pleases my imagination :) Suppose to be a face in profile at the right bottom corner that actually saying something that could be written in the cloud-ballon...:) I hope the original one can give you the credit for your critique.
