Pierre Dumas 262 Posted March 21, 2007 This one has a wonderful subject. The house is simply adorable and the sky fits the mood of the old house (maybe even haunted one, ha). But the contrast is very low. Increasing the contrast only will brighten the sky, which is negative for this compositional concept! Let me advise you, Joe, to select only the house with a polygonal lasso tool. Enlarge the picture so that the pixels will be visible and go by the edge, then select inverse and darken the sky, you may get back to the selected house, it means select inverse again and adjust suitable contrast and brightness. I would have done it myself to show you what in improvement it would be, but now I'm in some other "business" occupation. Speaking of that, I invite you to see the third episode of my Googy Dry serial: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=5357367 Thank you! PDE Link to comment
