yasirnisar 0 Posted March 18, 2007 Derawar Fort is an ancient fort located in Cholistan Desert in Pakistan. The Fort was built by Deoraj, a prince of Jaisalmer. It was in possession of royal family of Jaisalmer when it was captured by Abbasis in 1735. In 1747, the Fort slipped from the hands of Abbasis in the reign of Nawab Bahawal Khan due to his pre- occupations at Shikarpur. Nawab Mubarak Khan took the stronghold back in 1804 Comments/Critics/Ratings welcome Link to comment
michelguyot 0 Posted March 18, 2007 It's easier to say than to capture, but the camel and its driver would have been better placed more on left side. The camel driver is seriously overexposed too. It's spoils a little this still nice scenery. Regards, Michel Link to comment
Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted March 19, 2007 What I like best about this shot is the almost carefree attitude of the camel. I noticed an odd thing, too. If the camel strides as long as he appears top be about to, in how many steps will he leave the man comfortably behind? Just curious. Link to comment
yianni 0 Posted March 19, 2007 Great image!!! I dont think the camel driver is overexposed. It is just that he is wearing white over a white background and therefore not easily distinguishable. Playing with colour saturation and levels could improve this very easily. FYI Link to comment
