thank you Sarah... I appreciate your time.... I have been watching this pasture for the last 5 months on my backroad drive to and from Florida.... I love everything about "the Thunder Beings".... their wild mane and soft nose, their movements, their smell, their Spirits .... I hope to spend some time with this group next week... regards

Nice capture! I like the balance of darker tones on the bottom and lighter on the top. Great work....congrats....LJ

This is a shot for those who stop and take time to smell the roses in life. Some will miss the beauty of this photograph and some will not.

Sheryl, you have posted a gift for those who will pause and use that extra moment to see.

Congratulations! ~Sky

thanks Deb... all of the mares looked "worn out", especially the pregnant ones ...(ha...me smiles... a mother's work is never done) .... I love your photos of the "Thunder Beings" ... thanks for sharing

I like the composition but I find the somewhat excessive resistance between white and black. Perhaps, in my opinion, the photo would improve if outside possible to obtain more detail in both pitch ends. Thanks for your commentaries on my drawing sketches. Regards.

You have remained true to yourself in the more than one year I have followed your work. That, I find more remarkable that pixel counts. I a gree with the other commentator that this picture could use a minor contrast adjustment. However, I don't thing overphotoshopping it is the solution. Perhaps, you could make a print of it, burning in the top, then scan that print. Good luck.

Sheryl, what a beautiful capture. B/W was a perfect choice for this very touching image. I love how the baby is sheltered by it's calm and proud mama. Regards. Denise

Wanted, Dead or Alive, I'm Wanted Dead or Alive" (from my favorite Bon Jovi's 1986 album "Slippery When Wet")... Do they serve Decaf, Tex? and where are my boots ? time for some two steppin :-)
