bkromer 0 Posted March 18, 2007 I would like to thank photo.net for getting me off my butt. I haven't been to the zoo in such a long time and I forgot how cool it was. Ever since I've been a member (3 months now) I find myself in places and doing things I would not normally have taken the time to see or do. Thanks photo.net. Link to comment
bexta 0 Posted March 18, 2007 Great pic, I think a crop narrow vertically, and a slight increase in saturation/colour would perhaps increase the aesthetics of this photograph. It has great potential, and I would expect to see this in a gallery or museum. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
bkromer 0 Posted March 18, 2007 Thanks Rebecca, I like the advice on the saturation, however, the crop is exactly where I thought it looked the best (rule of thirds) Thanks for your input. Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted March 18, 2007 BUT, THE CROP IS PERFECT! The saturation is also perfect to as the shading is exactly where it should be (in my artistic opinion) coming from an artist position. The darkness on the right is pulled to the light just above the right eye and there you stare at the eye. THEN you move down and giggle at the mouth. THEN you notice the serious feeling with the shade on the left side and your heart does a (SIGH) moment. THIS is what makes the picture GREAT! THe way it just moves into the shading of the left side and back into darkness as if it was only a dream. THIS is absolutely WONDERFUL and I feel like I could see this on the front page in the search PN. Absolutely BRILLIANT! DON'T change a thing! You have a great eye ~ micki Link to comment
