Thanks Sircar, It was a lovely place to be at. I spent the night in one of the private junk boat which can host 10 persons. Lovely service and very nice twin beds too. Just like in a hotel.

Spectacular panorama of Halong Bay. Staying in the private boat overnight in Halong Bay must be a fantastic experience. I guess you just returned from a trip to Vietnam (Sapa & Halong Bay). You seemed to enjoy good weather, as judged from your photos. Lucky you! I myself just returned from Hanoi last week, but we had appalling weather. Well, you win some and lose some. Cheers. Thanks for coming guys and the kind comments.

Jeremy, your images are also very nice, I plan my travel and check the weather forecast too. I wanted to make sure I have a great sunny Sunday in Sapa during the "Love Market" day. For Halong Bay - cannot be helped as it is always cloudy.

This is a very impressive image when viewed larger. Great panorama, lighting, detail, and composition. Well done.

really nice panorama! with this sky I think a B&W would be more suitable, maybe with a little bit extra contrast. good vantage point!
