Actually, I think she's staring at something she dropped and knowing that there is no way in the world she can bend over and reach it! :) Nice shot, BTW.

Well Ok Mr. Murray - how about some technical details pleaseee - and maybe what was or wasn't running thru your head when you shot this ........ is it alive, is it an exhibit, is in one of your former roomates ?

Ken, we were at the zoo with our neighbor's two year old. This was an actual monkey area and this is a pregnant monkey. She was posing like that long enough for me to get a shot. The lighting is horrible and dark. I shot at iso 3200, so its grainy. Monkeys actually have a lot of interesting "poses." Ya got to hang around zoos more. Thanks for asking about it. I suppose it does look like a diorama or something. Check out the folder--there's a couple more zoo photos. The polar bears were cool.

Grainy or not, it's a great shot. All of these animal pictures are excellent.

The overall idea of the photo is great.  It would have been better if you could have fixed the noise in the leg and arm.

Thanks for your comment Diane.  True, I was using high iso, no flash and a f3.5-4.5 lens.  Not ideal.  I suppose I could use Neat Image to reduce the noise.
