So I was going to shoot sunrise when I notice the moon setting behind me so I decided to go for the moon instead. The problem with this shot was that I wanted to back up a bit and telephoto the scene so I could make the moon appear larger while still having the same composition with the shrimp boat. However, there was a car parked in my way so I was forced to stay close and go with a wide angle lens, which makes the moon appear like a dot instead of the big huge ball it really was. I was thinking I could possibly enlarge it in photoshop--not make it HUGE, just maybe double the size so that it actually appears like it did to my eyes the morning I took this shot. If anyone would like to save this image, enlarge the moon, and repost, I'd appreciate it!

Lastly, what do people think about the exposure on this shot? I have widely bracketed exposures and this is the middle. Because the moon was setting as the sun was about to rise lighting wasn't as difficult as it normally is when trying to shoot moonrise/set shots. However, I didn't know how "light" I should make the photo appear, because if you make it too light the moon looks out of place. In short, any thoughts are appreciated on the lighting and exposure.

I personally think you got your exposure right on for the time of day. This appears to be a difficult shot with the moon, the white boat and the light on the boat. White tends to get really bright in any light so you would have to keep your exposure time low as to not have the boat overpower the shot. ALso, the moon poses a challenge in that you don't want it blown out while trying to capture the boat properly in the dark wee hours. I say you did just a fine job all around. It's a good composition too. And your horizon is straight! I really like the mood this photo holds for me. Good job! You beat Trish to the punch! I haven't seen a moon shot out of her yet!
