andrewcampbell 0 Posted March 16, 2007 There's a lot of JPEG compression artifacts in this image. Check your camera image settings. Are you saving at the highest quality setting? Link to comment
tylerwind 0 Posted March 16, 2007 Andrew--This image was shot in RAW and then converted to an 8 bit TIFF and finally to a medium resolution JPEG. Should I be doing something differently? Thanks for the help! Link to comment
j.k._york 0 Posted May 7, 2007 we must be on the same channel this week because I just got back from the Gulf Coast of Florida with some pelican work done. well done. the light really makes the colors pop out here. the pelicans are fun to watch and shoot as you can get pretty close before they take off. i like the shrimper in the FG and the BG. nice palmettos in the tree line as well. good shot Tyler. regards, J.K. tylerwind 0 Posted May 8, 2007 Thanks JK! I realize this is not a show-stopper photograph but I've been trying to branch out and do some wildlife and I thought this cluster of pelicans made a decent shot. Do you have any pelican shots posted in your portfolio? I'll swing by and check for them--if not, please let me know when you get some uploaded. I'm certain I could learn much from your work.
