Yeah, that's a powerful image, poping in my face. Love the soft colors, and how you've composed it with the ice breaking the symetry.

This photo is really soothing. I like the symetry. I was reminded of the museum in my hometown. If you take pictures of International Trucks then you'd be interested. In Rimbey, Alberta, Canada there is the Rimbey International Truck Museum, where there is a fully restored truck for every year International made half tons. Check it out on the web, if you google "Rimbey" it should come up.

Excellent historic capture.

Thanks, much appreciated. Truth be known, I was visiting a professional photographer in Montana, and he took me around to many small towns in his area, and we were driving through the town of Augusta, and there were a bunch of old trucks and other stuff, and we stopped and I shot this and some other stuff. I do like old vehicles and old things of all kinds, but I'm not an old vehicle or International afficionado. Thanks for looking.

I was going to venture a guess that this was a cold day in Montana, but I had just enough sense to read the comments above before doing so. I saw an old International on the street yesterday and I thought of you and this image. I'm now surprised that I did not comment the last time I visited but I guess I was having a senior moment then. I like it!

Thanks. This old truck in Augusta, gave up three pretty good images. Funny how we both went to Montana and brought back all these images of junkers. All that scenery, and what are we taking pics of......?

David I was ecstatic with the "scenery" I saw in Montana and even more so by the wonderful images that I returned with. I'm certainly not going to get those kind of images in Mt. Rainier National Park. Besides, your bio states it perfectly, "I like old things..."
