Abandoned Moroccan refugee boat near El Medano Tenerife.

It is thought many drown in the attempt to reach Europe for a better

life.This boat quickly broke up in the weak surf.

I used an 0.8 ND filer just before dawn. Prob. at least a minute. iso 50.

Great shot, Gerry. I am guessing that you were probably torn between the choices of moving closer to the boat to get more of it in the frame and setting up farther back to capture the edge of the water line in the frame. The composition is very nice here, but I would also be curious to see shots that bring the boat in closer. In any event, wonderful scene.
