Although I have photographed statues before, I have to admit I never really understood why people did so. When I saw this memorial to the Commandos at Spean Bridge I thought I would give it a go.

I like what you did with this, it brings in a symbolic feel to it, this and others like it hold a special meaning for me, my son is in the marines!

Clarification!

To your post on my RGB on the rocks, The reason I was trying to direct you to the post above yours was because it was my post in direct answer to yours, there must have been a glitch in the system that placed it above yours, and it happened again on the post I left for Kim Barton just below your post!
