stevespencer 0 Posted March 13, 2007 Very very pleasing shot. I also like the symmetry, and the fog, and the tonal range... You are fortunate to have this scene to photograph. I would enjoy exploring it photographically in a number of lighting conditions, different weather, times of day, and with different lenses and materials/processes. Link to comment
dreamseeker 0 Posted March 13, 2007 If its the technique; contrast, DoF and FoV , also trees partially framing the photo, these are all wonderful. If its the art; it looks like the tunnel of life, with various stops and if you go straight where you can reach the lights of the eternal lands. Both in technique and in art, its good to watch your reputation. Dream Seeker Link to comment

petewelsh 0 Posted March 27, 2007 I prefer yours as it has more atmosphere to it due to the mist... I think Mist or rain would also help my shot.. I think most Black and white photos are depressing but if used well this can be used in the photographers favour.. But saying that I have seen shots e.g. A blacksmith / farrier in his workshop and steam engines which could not have been done in colour as they would not have "worked" ... Thanks for your comments and rating BTW :) regards ~Pete~ Link to comment
