nice photo...however why did you pick a sony 828 to remove the filter, when in nightshot on this particular camera, the ir filter over the ccd is flipped up.

resulting in the exact image.

and why are you still using a filter, when modified, you do not have to.

i have a modified camera, a dslr, and i find myself always going back for the sony.

love my sony niteshot!!

besides that,

nice leading image

Pricilla, with the Sony F828 modified I can shoot handheld at normal daylight speeds. A clear glass filter was put in the camera when it was modified. The R72 filter is for IR shooting only. I have another filter if I choose to shoot color with this camera. My Canon 20D is for color, that way I don't have to change filters on the cameras, and I have a better image.

Hi Sondra, I'm thinking very seriously about getting my 828 modified as yours. I diffidently see the merit it doing so, I'll email you later to find out who and where you had yours done if you don't mind......Good luck on your Vermont trip.......Jim
