kentb2 0 Posted March 21, 2007 Doug, I love the color composition created in this reflection. It could go even tighter to make it a tad more abstract if you were interested. Losing a little off the top and far right???? Just a thought but I love the shot as is. Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted March 21, 2007 Thanks, Kent. I will try the crop you recommend and repost it soon. Link to comment
kentb2 0 Posted March 21, 2007 Hey Doug, I didn't expect quick response like this. I personally like your crop version. Now that I see it cropped it did get tight on the window by needing to remove the roof rack but not much to do about that unless you wanted to slightly rotate cc. You don't have more image on the original do you? If so you could give a little more space on the left side as well so your bottom left window corner isn't so tight either. Please don't feel like you need to make any of this suggested moves. I really only want to provide options for you to consider. And if they're helpful, I'm happy. If not it's because it was a stupid idea of mine. You're the boss man. Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted March 21, 2007 Hey, I like trying things out. I've got several versions of every photo b/c I like to see what works best. Thanks for the idea--it's fun for me to play around and see if I can make photos better. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted February 3, 2008 I just had to copy this to my own computer and try various crops, but I could not improve on your choice for showing it. I perhaps would have shot the original image a bit different. I often find myself looking at reflections in the windows of vehicles, but more often than not it is while I'm driving in rush hour traffic when I cannot shoot the shot. Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted February 3, 2008 This one was tricky. I tried several shots at several angles, and all of them had their drawbacks. I'd love to get each shot just perfect, but sometimes I give up and say "good enough." Link to comment
