Strange creature

This thing might be made of stone, but it seems alive enough to me.

Would anyone know what kind of creature it is supposed to be? Maybe

the answer is simply "some kind of dragon". But anyway, I like it.

What do you think?

Reminds me of the Googies Dry (that's my name for those creatures waiting in ambush for good photos to stick threes to them). But, as I always say - the merit in this kind of photos must be shared between the two creators. The photographer have chosen good angle, lighting and framed well, but it took couple of minutes. The sculptor has done a lot more and spent a lot more time on it!
