mvisionphotography 1 Posted March 8, 2007 I really worked a while on it. After spending so much time in Japan and never wearing a Kimono yesterday I decided to just put one on and just snap a couple of pictures after putting my hair up to wash my face and that was it. I LOVE the texture of a woodblock and that was it. I can see I am going to do some more WOODBLOCK looks! I have ALWAYS been very facinated by woodblocks and have seen some of the greatest woodblock artists of present time do some of their works but only bought one to give as a gift. THIS was just to much fun to do. The whole time process took over three hours not including going through over 40 pictures and the time it took to get the photo taken which was probably over 40 minutes. SO... when people think PS is just easy it isn't. Learn by trial and error. I'm sure it could have been even better and honestly the BIGGER view is better but I can't show you it because of the scroll problem here on PN. Thank you ~ micki Link to comment

ciana_high 0 Posted March 9, 2007 Well you have really outdone yourself. I would have guessed you had a picture from Japan, but to do a self protrait that is wonderful. I too like the woodblock look. Makes it look so expensive that I could not afford it!! Link to comment
