Guest Guest Posted March 7, 2007 This is absolutely stunning! What do you mean by the title? Link to comment
timohicks 0 Posted March 7, 2007 Thank you kindly Kim; the title is biblical as in "the Wages of Sin is Death." Link to comment

will king 0 Posted March 7, 2007 Awesome work Tim. I would have preferred the title "Victory" Link to comment
timohicks 0 Posted March 7, 2007 Rashed and Will thanks for your support and remarks; I was aiming at metaphor Will more than title; titles tend to stereotype art; in fact, I started to leave it untitled. I visted each of your sites and was very impressed with your professionalism and photographic prowess. For me complements from such personalities as you makes your remarks the more valuable, so thanks again. Tim Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 8, 2007 I thought that was what your title meant, but wanted to make sure. I do like Will's take on it, too...because death is swallowed up in victory! Once again, awesome image! Link to comment
patflynn 0 Posted March 25, 2007 Inspirational work, as your submissions always are. I'm glad that you are still pursuing your unique vision. Just wanted to stop by and say hello. Link to comment
timohicks 0 Posted March 26, 2007 Patrick, Patrick, Patrick, how are you doing my young friend; it's been quite some time since we discussed my work, "Sea Port Reprise." I hope all is well with you and your health and your family. Yes, you know I really took your comments very seriously so much so that I have invested in new glass (AF VR Zoom-Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D ED and AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED plus a Fujifilm Finepix S5Pro Digital SLR--I'm most excited about the S5Pro). My big concern with "Sea Port Reprise" was the clarity and detail of the images I use to form the composition. Witn this new equipment, I hope I can challenge your discriminating eye even better. I welcome you comments, questions, and unvestigations. This piece was created entirely in Photoshop CS3 Beta. Thanks again for your comments. Tim Link to comment
d.v.bladel 0 Posted April 17, 2007 Lovely and thankfully image, when i think of the cross. Indeed the wages of sin is the death. And the mercy of God is eternal life through His Son Jesus Christ, Who has triumphed the death on the cross for our sins for all who believe. Beautiful light we walk in now and no more in the darkness. My complement about this picture. Best wishes. Link to comment
