Arash,

I appreciate the angle at which this shot was taken. Even if you had tried to align your focus lines down the long axis of the rocks, it would have still gone to diagonal. This is a much better and more aesthetic approach. I enjoy the varied hues of the rocks and the slight mirroring that occurs. It is difficult to ascertain whether or not this is a man-made formation or if it occurred in nature, but nevertheless, it is quite stunning. I like, also, the remaining photos of the rocks, they too are relaxing. Well captured.

I greatly appreciate the time you have invested in writing a constructive, thoughtful critique like of which can be rarely seen around in PN ( unfortunately ). first of all, you're quite right about the angle. I didn't want to force the viewer to twist his interpretation to fit a diagonal angle shot. I meant to produce an image where the diagonal lines cut the horizontal line s of the frame to produce more contrast just like a conflict between an absolute tranquility and dynamism. This sort of clash forces the eyes to move around the frame to explore obviously as the result of subconscious tendency to correct the situation and to return to tranquility. Finally, I should add that there in no man's manipulation in what you see here. These rocks belong to volcanic rocks falling apart bit by bit into these perfect triangles
