baerbel 0 Posted March 6, 2007 Mexico, the Pacific Coast. The sun had already gone down and it was dark, when all of the sudden the sky line turned bright red for just a minute or so. An amazing sight - my photo barely does it justice, unfortunately. Link to comment
carlwakefield 0 Posted March 6, 2007 Hello Baerbel, I keep seeing super sunsets and also try and capure them. I would suggest you try the following to get a bit more light in the picture. 1. Increase the ISO to 800 2. Take a centered or spot light measurement from the sky. 3. Try under exsposing by 1 4. Review the pics and change the settings. The picture would be really super if it was a bit lighter. The red colours are really intensive. Regards Carl Link to comment
baerbel 0 Posted March 6, 2007 Carl, thank you so much for your comment and helpful suggestions. They certainly will come in handy the next time I see a fabulous night sky. Barb :) Link to comment
williammccarey 0 Posted March 6, 2007 Normally, I am underwhelmed by a dark sunset, but you got the colors just right for me in this image. In fact if it were lightened up, I think the mystery and ambience would be lost. This is an excellent photo. Also a very nice presentation too. Nice job. 7/7 Link to comment
