I think if you are going to go for framing then the view thru the trees neds to frame the chuch more accuaratly rather than the branches being across the steeple. The light is a bit dull so better to wait until it is better if possible.

I don't mind the framing that much, I think your composition and perspective works, but I agree that a little more interesting lighting would create much more of a mood and the photograph would work better. Doesn't have to be very strong lighting, as the scene demands a softer touch, but some variety and shadowing would help a lot.
