These clouds are perfect...they make for a wonderful image. What would you think of a crop along the bottom so that the roads are removed and the image pretty much starts at the treeline? IMO, that would remove a very slight distraction and, more importantly, emphasize the clouds even more.

depending on what effect you want, cropping it for a close up may be more dramatic, however the way it is gives a nice birds-eye view/overall look of the mountain. for me the rolling hills leading up emphasize the peaks prominance.

I like the wreath of cloud around the mountain, very impressive! I agree in this case cropping does not strengthen the image though I can see why it was suggested. A shot of just the peak with clouds below and above might work.
