Guggenheim Bilbao

The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao by Frank Gehry was probably the most

often mentioned new building of 1998 and 1999 in architecture circles.

The composition continues a curvaceous, free-form sculptural style

that has become a Gehry signature.

 

I dedicate this photo to my professor and friend Mihail Voda Ph.D., a

good man and great professional, who usually walked with his wife

Irina near these surfaces and who died few days ago in his native

Bucharest.

I like too much this angle of the building, especially with this stormy sky as background (or must I say protagonist?) The blue tonal range seems very appropriated breathing a strange atmosphere, almost the eve of a battle aboard a dreadnought. Impressive. Very very well done Guillermo. Me gusta mucho este angulo del edificio (casi novedoso para mi te dire) especialmente porque da lugar a ese cielo tormentoso como fondo (o debo decir protagonista?) El azul dominante se ve muy apropiado para crear una atmosfera extrania y atractiva, casi casi como las visperas de una batalla a bordo de un acorazado. Estoy impresionado. Muy pero que muy buena Guillermo.

Excelente trabajo. El azul a�il del cielo le viene muy bien al Museo, que mas parece un submarino atomico que un acorazado.

Atractiva si es,aunque algo bestia!las nubes parecen a�adidas via PS,se me muestra estetica,aunque "another of this World"

No si eso,lo tengo claro,simplemente me referia a que parecen a�adidas,debido a ese sobre-incremento de color han adquirido un volumen bestial y parece que hayan sido colocadas via PS

La fotografia me parece excelente, especialmente por el efecto del cielo, y el reflejo de esos tonos azules sobre el metal. Por supuesto, sobra decir que la composici�n es estupenda.
