mvisionphotography 1 Posted March 2, 2007 The sun still sets but I am stand where a house once stood. A house that was ripped off the foundation and torn apart by a hurricane over two years ago. ~ Over 20 homes on this block are still gone. ~ Isn't it still beautiful? What do you think? rogerleekam 0 Posted April 16, 2007 Beautiful light and color, but great composition like this is probably the hardest. The two lines and the poles leading the eye to the sun tight to the right (how often do you see a sunset image with the sun at the edge?). Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted April 16, 2007 I am thinking... I am all about lines and I ignore the sun to tell you the truth. It was just lucky to be there HA! The important thing here is the poles left by the aftermath of the distruction of the hurricane. I wanted the reflection of the sun and I almost erased that sill plant and the pier but left this picture as is. I don't ever do things traditionally because I am not schooled in any rules for photography only artistic knowledge and so I just go with lines and angles and such. The thing that was most important to me is that reflection of the sun on the pole to the left and so the sun needed to be to the right. BUT... now that you say that I'm going searching for SUNS to the right ~ LOL maybe I will start a trend ~ he he :) Link to comment
