sondra kick 0 Posted March 1, 2007 This image was taken along the Oregon coastline. Notice the person watching the angry sea. All comments are welcome and appreciated; thanks for stopping by, Sondra Link to comment
jgomezg 0 Posted March 2, 2007 An excellent picture that captured a perfect moment to show the grandness of the ocean. Very good composition and use of the human scale to represent the wave size. Very good detail and color. Juan Link to comment

henrimanguy 0 Posted March 3, 2007 Great shot, excellently composed (the man observing, indispensable), and excellent timing of course. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted March 4, 2007 Sondra, is it near Cape Kiwanda? The power of the waves is the same; the rock color, the same and I was in that area last summer. Excellent shot and the presence of the observer really adds ( and makes man look so small in front of nature). Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted March 4, 2007 Paula, this view point was south of North Bend, OR. We started our journey at Lincoln City and headed south to Crescent City, CA. Sondra Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted March 8, 2007 Nice use of all the elements of the picture with the small figure contrasted with the static mass of rock and te power of the waves. Link to comment

dave_dube 10 Posted May 4, 2007 Most people that have commented must be viewing on smaller screens like I am currently. Since I know where all of the color noise is located, I have to look very hard on my 17in wide-screen notebook to see it. On my 21 in LCD, it's very troubling. Maybe due to high saturation, you developed a color shift in pixels. Upper right part of the sky and center bottom of the wave. The noise leans to magenta.Great timing of the wave, did you see any whales? Link to comment
