I love the expresion on the Mannequin. I also love the darkness to the right and the light to the left. Wonderful! ~ You are a master! ~ micki

Michael, very well composed, the screem is really a surprise here as well as the title ;-)) Nice rendition even a bit enigmatic. Explanation?

I do not want to give explanation of a picture because the art of the photographer

is to transfer his message trough the image. The scream shows the anxiety of somebody. I believe that every top-model, actor etc. is always trying to remain in the top. When this comes to an end he or she feels like a naked ex king-queen and it is the time to scream.. The hairless head symbolizes that she is not any more in the top . Ex- Queen with no crown. PS. That means I failed in this creation to transfer the message .

Michael, thanks for the explanation, the thought is very nice, what was anigmatic is the very quiet general atmospher around, opposed to the scream of Eduard Munch. I think that if it was a real human being and something with a stronger tension like a diagonal in the composition itself( look at the painting itself and see the diagonal line of the jetty) there are some round ellements in the composition like the lamp, the upper semi round that brings calm. so that what broght me to ask the question.I think that the idea is worth moreexperimenting with.

BTW, IN 1994 I had an exhibition( painting) with a long dialogue with EM work. I will add the link to that , it was published in a magazin in the USA.

Ah the scream in red. She seems very calm in contrast, but maybe that's only on the outside. An interesting study again on conflicting views.
