lgoodwin 0 Posted March 1, 2007 I like the way the various lines (the road, the furrows, the clouds) draw your eye into different parts of the photo. Very effective. Link to comment
aginbyte 0 Posted March 1, 2007 ... my only question is if it would have been possible to adjust the camera position slightly to eliminate the greenhouse structure to the right of the church. Probably would have meant moving a little closer because of how you frame the road, but might have worked. As it is, that structure distracts for me. Link to comment
chips 0 Posted March 2, 2007 Good photograph but with a bit of work it could be outstanding. I agree the green house is distracting from the message and composition. By cropping it you can get a better line to the beginning of the road. Since it's title is stormy you could emphasize the sky a bit more by lowering the horizon, an additional benefit is gained by removing the shadows on the road in the foreground -- this clarifies your concept of stormy -- strengthening this photograph. It also looks a little over processed (manipulated and filtered) but that's a style issue that you seem comfortable with and the look is strongly contrasting -- storms can be dramatic. shanm 0 Posted May 10, 2007 Don't change a thing ! I believe that sometimes people over-think things, and at times when that is done, it takes away from the mood of the photo. Beautiful capture. smile,,, Link to comment
Elstad 7 Posted June 3, 2007 A Super Image! Great use of leading lines and the placement of the church is perfect. Wonderful clouds in the background and a finely lit fore and middle ground really work well to make this just about perfect. Link to comment
