Geneva by night

I chose this photo because of the way the lights reflect on the lake

of Geneva.

Hi Maria, Great composition and colors. I do like the reflections from the lights off the water but... Don't take this the wrong way, but; the foreground looks in focus but the buildings in the background are out of focus. This would have been a more dramatic image if you would have kept the entire image in focus. Landscapes can be tricky as far as focusing images in certain areas or the entire area of your image. When shooting landscapes and you want the entire area of your image in focus, make sure you have your focusing area set to "dynamic" and you want to focus a few feet past the foreground and eyeball the background as well to insure it is in focus as well then take your shot. Maria, I do like the colorful reflections of the lights. I think you have taken the photo from a little far angle from the one that I have done. It is the end of the winter and I think the weather in Geneva is really wonderful. Nice shot.
