bartimeus1 0 Posted March 1, 2007 Thank you for your comments! :-D I have "Googled"-the name "Alpo" and know about the Pedigree Alpo-pet products. ;-D So, you found out my clue - or inside joke - of this image. :-) Tiffany: Please, don`t take this as rude, but you may understand why I had to read this following part couple of times, until I was quite sure about the meaning of it... "I think he needs a little kiss As for Alpo..." Another S-letter to a sensitive place and then... Pthui! But, I am rather sure that this was only my tired imagination... Hopefully. ;-D These horse images (there are more of these, unfortunately), were shot so, that I layed my camera just over the snow and waited till the colt came looking at it. Then I shot the image. It must have wondered why I lay beside the fence and put my camera inside of the corral. Well, joyful photo shootings! Alpo (No, not that pet food...!) Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted March 1, 2007 hahahahaha - everybodies comments are as funny as the image! I can't believe you set your camera down in the snow! Didn't your battery get cold and complain? And what a curious horse! You are lucky he didn't eat your camera - especially if he thought it might be some tastey ALPO!! Link to comment
bartimeus1 0 Posted March 1, 2007 Thank`s Jan, for the comment. For this shot I just held the camera, about 5 cm from the snow. But I have shot numerous images so, that I`ve kept the camera on ice or on snow for couple of minutes. It has not affected the battery, atleast not that I would have noticed any difference. Of course, I have to dry the body and strap, before continuing the photo session. Then to this image and to my name, it was about 1982, when I did read quite many US-comics, maybe MAD`s. I almost fell from the bench when I bumped to some series that mentioned Alpo-dogfood. Well, it is quite interesting to meet American people whom have pets. After we are being introduced, many people start looking at me like valueing sausage for their pet... ;-D No, actually I`ve met some US people whom have mentioned about it. So what. :-) Link to comment
