noehguy 0 Posted February 26, 2007 All critiques about the photo are welcome. No other girl is more beautiful than my daughter, and this point cannot be discussed ! Link to comment
pjmeade 12 Posted February 26, 2007 Hello Guy, I love the colours and movement and you seemed to have controlled the harsh lighting well. It's a pity you didn't get her face. Pete Link to comment
dhw 0 Posted February 26, 2007 I agree, I love the subject, colors, and motion. It would be nice to see her face with a pretty smile. dhw Link to comment
noehguy 0 Posted February 26, 2007 I agree with you. It would be much better viewing her face. But I had some problems when I took the photo : being not an official photographer, I am not allowed to come close to the sport area. Then I am obliged to use maximum zooming. And, as the light is very changing in February, I set the camera to 400 ISO, thing I usually never do. And last but not least, between the instant I press the button, and the time the photo is made, there is about 0,8 sec (approx). I have to anticipate, and it is not really easy. Many thanks for your critiques. Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted May 8, 2007 Would have been nice to see her face but the twirling ribbon is one of the main things in the image and it's captured nicely so this works for me. I had a ribbon twirling concert pic too in portfolio and yeah, I didn't get the face either but I got the movement. Link to comment
