dave_dube 10 Posted February 28, 2007 Phil and Gary, thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment. So, what do you guys think of the "new" PN look? It's like reading an educational book, some are easy to read, your eye knows where to go next. Others are visually difficult. PN seems to be uncluttered (sterile as one person put it) but my eyes don't know where to go. The visual cues aren't there or, not the best type.Anyway, well get use to it and all will be as it was. susan stone 0 Posted March 1, 2007 Nice abstract design Dave, I like the tones and light a lot. It's an interesting composition and when I study it my imagination wonders what the elements are and how you created them. I was gone for several days and came home to a totally new look here on PN, I don't think it's an improvement but the site is at least running a little faster, it had gotten so slow to use that I wasn't spending much time here. The typography is very boring and hard to read, the words under the headings are so small I have to really concentrate to read them....but as you say we'll get used to it. Link to comment
dave_dube 10 Posted March 2, 2007 Thanks Susan! One area of PS that I haven't spent too much time with is Vector based objects and Smart objects. What's nice about them is basically they keep clean edges and don't break apart (pixelate). You can make them bigger/smaller, over and over ~ they look good.
