Wheat in the Best Light

Needing to start practicing macro, trying to get a handle on aperture settings before summer.

It's beautiful. The golden light on the golden wheat is perfect. The detail is excellent. The composition is very good.

It had been raining for 4 days, I just needed to take a photo so I did a "studio" shot in my office. I was on PN attempting to advocate for the Canon 500D macro attachment. Finally I thought, I'll just take a photo and sent it to her, a visual explaination so to speak.

Sometimes it's good to rain continuously which forced us to stay indoors to try on still-life.(Like I did with my basket). The golden light here is marvelous & brings out the characteristics of the wheat very well. I like this, simple & nice.
