I like it Mark. Even though there are blown highlights, they seem to be sucking me into the photo to check out all of the interesting details.

Steve.. Thanks for the comments. If you download the image and check levels, I am just on the boarder but the highlights are not blown on my monitor

Nice photo. I like some of the others from Pt. Lobos in your portfolio too. Pt. Lobos is a fantastic place to take pictures; I love it there.

Your work on the sky tones and cropping was worth the effort, the sky is now an interesting layer in the composition, and the crop makes the composition balanced IMO. Spume is white, but not blown-out, ok. But I would really like to see some detail there in the highlights. Another issue are some sensor dust spots in the sky, quite noticeable viewed large, a side effect of your burning the sky hues.

Thanks for the comments. I need to clean the sensor for sure. I will need to go through and clean up those dust spots. I used a very high aperture so hence all the dust came out. I do not think i can get any more detail from the white spum...

OOoops, sorry. That was a good lesson in critiquing photos using my laptop. I still like how the brightness of the water draws me into the photo... very nice!
