Beatiful Really beatiful. Really. Worth of Playboy front page :) Though it is a little too...candid. This is nude photo, sure, but that`s my opinion. Great photo!

Umair Ghani

Very nice pose and manipulation John.

STYLE I check this site every day. I click on the photos without looking at the author and for yours I will say, "Oh that is a John Peri." Each picture is different but there is an element of style that I recognize. The model is very natural and erotic by her nature, but I do not see anything that indicates a line is crossed.

Bravo Wikipedia: Erotica (from the Greek language Eros - "love") ? refers to works of art, including literature, photography, film, sculpture and painting, that deal substantively with erotically stimulating or arousing descriptions. Erotica is a modern word used to describe the portrayal of the human anatomy and sexuality with high-art aspirations, differentiating such work from commercial pornography. What is the difference between Erotica and Porn? The difference and I am quoting here " the difference between the two is that Erotica is a tantalizing, uncertain proposition and porn just gives the came away".......Richard Murrian For me one is a celebration and the other is a vulgarization. I rarely comment on other works but always find myself checking what you have up new ..I feel one can see the celebration of Female beauty in your works and it is done with a grace and elegance.....It isn't a matter of what is exposed or how much of the body is exposed but the context of how it is presented.... This is a beautiful capture and very well done.

John this is a truly tantalizing image, like me I suspect you ponder over what to and what not to post. To some extent and unfortunately the nude photgrapher still carries the banner of pervert, dirty old man, yet the painter is an artist. This by far is not pornographic

Thank you everyone, I am very glad that you were able to identify with this work. TANYA: I gave the image cold colours in order to depersonalize the subject.

Alberto Quintal
Excellent! original, John. Cheers. Alberto

Naomi Marie Naomi, thank you. First of all it is beautifully expressed, and with such elegant and graceful words. Secondly, it means a lot to me that anyone and let me say it, particularly a woman, can show such understanding of my efforts in this area. It is difficult for a photographer to strike the right balance between what is pleasing to himself, what will please other and that which will maintain the approval of our female viewers and the model herself. Erotica has unjustly become a dirty word in every day usage, because it is falsly associated with the vulgariziation of sensuality in art. For me the difference between erotica and pornography is that the former ellicits worship, admiration and desire, whereas the second only leads to instant gratification. The fast food of sex. To deny that women are the objects of men's desire would be an absurdity. To entice the male with her femininity is a natural process for a woman, and to do it with such charm and sensuality as above should only be regarded with affection and esteem. Life would be so boring without erotica and the overwhelming feelings that the opposite sex can provoke in us. It is hard to portray this in photography, but we should not be discouraged from trying. Thank you again Naomi for your understanding and support.

John, you used the mood, contrast, and color extremely well in making this an exceptional photo. I would love to put this on my wall. Alex

A beautifully captured, intimate moment. Tranquil.

John... ...most women can relate to this very private, intimate moment in the bathtub...like i do ;o). I wish you did this in warmer colour though, this colour makes the photo somewhat alienated to me. Otherwise, you are the master of sensuality and erotica.

Jim Phelps
John, I really think this photo is a long way from crossing over the "bad taste" boundary. However, it is definitely erotic.

"It is difficult for a photographer to strike the right balance between what is pleasing to himself, what will please other and that which will maintain the approval of our female viewers and the model herself." Don't worry. You have got that sense. This photograph triggers respect, lovely! gr. Eddy

Allan, I appreciate that. Thank you also Roman and Alberto. Kudos to the model, the class is hers.

.. the challenge is to make an erotic photo without crossing over the thrsehold of good taste. I would welcome comments in regards to whether this photo fulfils that objective.

Cheers Strong but theres points in the picture you can actually feel "delicatesse", Thanks for it! Will be on my website soon :-)

john, i am not sure what good taste means or if i have it or not, but your photographs always have a very nice erotic charge on them. i like them a lot.

John Peri
How kind Rafael, thank you. I truly appreciate your words.

One of the finest examples... This picture is one of the finest examples I have ever seen of erotic art. The most female intimate part is exposed directly without falling into vulgarity or pornography. Comments from some members as Naomi are very eloquent and direct to the point. There's no doubt picture was taken by a Master. Thank you for your postings, Peri!
