Excellent counterlight.

A lovely sunrise, but I have two nitpicks...you've got what appears to be a dust speck near the top center of the shot, and the buildings on the left side appear to be canted to the right. I think the exposure is pretty good though, and catching the sun between the buildings where it rose is a nice touch.

Thanks John for stopping by. Yes, I have also seen the dust spot. Regarding the buildings canted to the left, I have used a wide angle 28 mm (not a super wide) with a Canon 28-300 USM IS L lens...this seems to be a problem even with a high end professional lens like the one used...I dont know if others also faced a similar problem

Very beautiful, the silhouettes and the colors makes it interesting.

I would have preferred to have the photo cropped between the second and the third building to the left. The reasons are as follows:

i) The beauty of this photo is the reflection on the water. The water body on the left is quite dark and doesn't add much to the photo.

ii) The two silhouettes on the left (the buildings with mechanical cranes on them) do not add much to the photo. The rest of the silhouettes are enough to make this 'picture perfect'.
