Jim_Dockery_Photos 2 Posted February 24, 2007 I had just stepped up on a large driftwood log to get another perspective when a random large wave washed up much higher than any that we'd seen in our half hour on the beach. I was lucky to snap this shot instead of getting myself, my tripod, and camera knocked over and drenched! Link to comment

stp 6 Posted February 25, 2007 Jim, thanks for your comment on my version of this same place. The ND 3.0 filter is a lot of fun, and I'm just learning how to apply it to different sea and sky conditions. I didn't get wet here at Ruby, but I did catch a soaker when a big wave hit the rock I was standing on down at Beach 3 (which, by the way in case you've never been there, is great for photography; it's my alternative until they re-open Second Beach).
