I so enjoy doing this treatment and work so hard at getting a picture just right. Some will not do it and when this one worked I jumped for joy! The shadow worked and I was so thrilled! People think things are easy to do like this but I sit and work on these for hours sometimes. It is all about colors and working them and different paints before they work just right. Thank you so much ;) ~ micki

It gave a different mood after you used PS (I suppose??). But, it's good looking, sincerely.

Micki, is it possible you have a look at mine (http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=5615571) and possibly give me a rating because something funny happened. After I posted, I saw two (5,6)s, then one (6,6) and suddenly three (3,3)s!! I suspected they are from the same person. Thanks heaps.

Have been looking through your portfolio Micki - I have been so busy with family stuff haven't had as much time as I would like to spend on photonet. I love this shot and the effect you have put on it. You are right, fences, sand etc are great to take pics of and I agree about the amount of time you have to spend on a pic to get it just right! I can (when I have time) spend hours and days adjusting and tweaking photos....it's a passion...or maybe an obsession! My husband thinks it's the latter.. Hope you get to see my comment as this is an older pic. Best Regards Geri

THIS is one of those pictures you would probably through away when you look at it if you got it from a photoshop normally.

I would normally delete it BUT I saw the qualities in it for a PICTURE as it had great lines and that sun with the clouds peeking out at me.

I knew it would work for paint!!

Thank you so much for your kind words and I agree it can take over your life :) ~ just remember take care of the hubby! ~ ha (he he)

I was off on a mini sabbatical from PN and I have not had a chance to see all of the wonderful work you have been doing. Keep up the good work.
