Moon and Venus Conjunction - Feb 19, 2007

This is a composite of two photos, both taken with a Canon Powershot S50.Photo 1: ISO 50, 10 seconds, f/5.6Photo 2: ISO 50, 1 second, f/4.9Color balance was adjusted for the twilight, to make it more realistic. The light part of the Moon and Venus are from the short exposure, while the dark part of the moon and the twilight are from the longer exposure.

so simple yet so beautiful. nice exposure with hints of earth objects. i too love astronomy and hope to have some nice photo, someday. thanks for sharing, and comments on my gallery photo.
