What an amazing shot! Certainly not the common sight...Amazing colours and shapes. If I have a little comment it is that I feel that the crop is a bit too tight, but really that is just nitpicking. Great shot!

This is the first time I have seen water at the painted hills shot. Nice colors.

Thanks for the comments! Yes, Lalit, I have never seen water till my last visit there. I have been to the painted hills on two other occasions and rain had played spoilsport both times. On the most recent trip though, there were scattered showers forecasted and by the time I reached there, it was still pouring. I waited for an hour and was just about to give up hope, when I saw the clouds clearing up and the setting-sun come out. You can still see the retreating storm clouds in here. I had read on one of the many "information" boards that the soil there doesn't absorb much water. So, I went scouting around till I chanced upon this pool of water in a remote area. I guess, I was there at the right time and the very rain that spoiled my previous trips made it quite memorable this time!
