Vulcan's Throne

This pic was shot at Toroweap or Tuweep, one of the remote areas on

the northen rim of the Grand Canyon. It is one of the few places in

the Grand Canyon where one can peer down into the Colorado over a

sheer 3500ft drop-off. In contrast to the crowds at the South rim,

this place is sparsely visited by people. There was just one happy

camper enjoying the sunrise when I was there.
