Moon & Venus. If viewed larger, some surrounding stars can be seen too.

Kees, this was taken with five seconds exposure time, aperture 8, ISO 50, on a tripod & usng the timer in order to reduce shake. I doubt if you could get the same result in NW Europe as there the air usually is too polluted to see stars clearly. Thanks very much for your comments. Cheers, Sam.
