stefanoanghileri 0 Posted February 19, 2007 Thank you Ali, Alps are really wonderful. What town is this? I think I have been here but cant remember the name of the town...Garmish? Thanks, Leanna:O) Link to comment
stefanoanghileri 0 Posted April 4, 2007 Hi Leanna, thanks for your comment. The town you see here is actually not a town, but a small village called Valdidentro, in the heart of Italian Alps. Famous ski resorts close to Valdidentro are Bormio, Livigno and Santa Caterina Valfurva. Garmish is in Germany. Alpine landscapes can look all very similar to people who come from not close countries. :D Link to comment

stephen_clayton 0 Posted July 10, 2007 Stefano - I have enjoyed viewing your work elsewhere on the Web, and it is so nice to see your work here on photo.net! A logical next step in perfecting your art and craft. "The Heart" remains one of my strong all-time favorites, and is a great example of being in the right place at the right time. Your p.o.v. is ideal and the weather provides a nice, natural vignette. That said, nothing in this photo seems to conform to formal composition rules, but the slopes of the mountains and valley draw the eye magnetically into the scene, creating a photograph that is alive and organic in nature, not stiffly composed. I wish it were a high-rez mural, because I could dive into this photo for *hours!* I greatly respect and appreciate your approach to your work, and am especially interested in seeing more of your monochromes. Keep up the good work! Stephen Clayton ("Keelhauler"), Largo, FL, USA Link to comment
stefanoanghileri 0 Posted July 11, 2007 It is so unbelievably amazing to see you here!!!Thanks for your most appreciated comment on this image, I'm absolutely flattered by your words. I believe having almost no photographic or art background helps with creativity and this is a neat example. Not always rules have to be followed, expecially when you make art.It was definitely a great spot and I'm sorry this photo was taken with my father's 3.2Mpix camera as mine had broken down. For this reason it is impossible to print it out big. Thanks again for you comments. With a bit of patience you will see my portfolio getting bigger and bigger. ;) Ciao!Stefano Link to comment
